Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and periodically review security policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Train and guide security personnel and other employees on security policies, emergency procedures, and compliance requirements.
    • Prepare, review, and maintain security-related documentation, including incident reports, investigation reports, proposals, and strategic initiatives.
    • Conduct internal investigations related to losses, violations, and policy breaches, and present findings to management.
    • Identify, investigate, and resolve security breaches and vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
    • Manage and control the security department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and monitoring expenses.
    • Recruit, train, deploy, and supervise security officers and guards to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
    • Attend cross-functional meetings with management to understand operational requirements and align security support accordingly.
    • Lead and coordinate security staff during emergency situations, alarms, and crisis scenarios.
    • Review daily and periodic security reports on incidents, breaches, and preventive measures.
    • Investigate security-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
    • Prepare periodic security status reports and presentations for senior management.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Ex-Serviceman (Army / Navy / Air Force) with an honorable discharge.
    • Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in security management, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or large campus environments.
    • Strong background in developing and implementing security policies, SOPs, and emergency response procedures.
    • Experience in handling crisis situations, emergency coordination, and executive protection when required.
    • Sound knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), access control systems, fire safety norms, and statutory compliance.
    • Experience in conducting internal investigations and preparing detailed incident and compliance reports.
