Job Description

Purpose/Objective This role will assist in managing all litigation matters, ensuring all case documentation is current and systematically archived. This role involves coordinating with external legal professionals, monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting contract management through drafting, reviewing, and auditing legal documents. Additionally, the Incharge will ensure all due diligence documentation meets legal standards.

Key Responsibilities: of Role Legal Manager Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Assist in managing and tracking litigation matters, ensuring case documentation is up-to-date.

Support in coordinating with external advocates, solicitors, and legal consultants for case proceedings. Prepare reports on ongoing litigation cases and provide updates to senior management. Maintain a structured legal database and ensure all case records are systematically archived. Regulatory & Compliance Management: Monitor legal and regulatory updates, ensuring compliance with corporate, labor, and real estate laws. Assist in ensuring that all statutory and regulatory obligations are met across business units. Help in developing policies and frameworks for legal governance and compliance. Contract Management & Legal Advisory: Draft and review contracts, agreements, and MOUs under supervision. Ensure proper documentation of all contracts and assist in negotiations to minimize legal risks. Support business teams in contract execution and adherence to legal terms. Conduct periodic audits of legal records and contracts. Due Diligence & Land Acquisition Documentation: Oversee documentation related to land acquisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Conduct primary due diligence on title verifications, checking historical records. Review and manage land documentation, maintaining proper records and reports. Collaborate with legal consultants to obtain title reports and certificates. Ensure all legal documentation is compliant with regulatory requirements. Work Experience (Range of years): 7-10 years Preferred Industry: Corporate legal experience, with a focus on litigation, non-litigation, and regulatory compliance, due diligence in a corporate environment. Proven leadership in team management, overseeing legal functions, driving compliance, and managing legal risk for business support.
