Purpose/Objective



    This role is responsible for executing strategies for business expansion and client acquisition.
    The role will focus on day-to-day business development activities including identifying new opportunities, managing relationships, site visits, supporting tenders, and ensuring smooth project execution.
    The BD Executive will also contribute to revenue generation by maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities of Role



    ATEL BD Executive - O3 Business Expansion Support: - Assist in identifying new business opportunities in target regions, focusing on B2B and B2G partnerships.
    - Support the Zonal Head in implementing strategic initiatives aligned with company goals, particularly in smart city projects.
    - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to keep track of trends and provide relevant insights.
    Client Relationship Management: - Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and business growth.
    - Support farming and growing opportunities by regularly interacting with clients to understand their evolving needs.
    - Assist in managing both direct and indirect leads by updating lead data and ensuring regular communication with potential clients.
    Project Acquisition and Coordination: - Support tendering processes by assisting in the preparation of documents and raising queries as necessary.
    - Participate in site inspections and surveys to determine feasibility for new installations or expansion of current setups.
    - Collaborate with the internal project team to ensure that client requirements are understood and that projects meet quality standards.
    Revenue and Payment Follow-Up: - Follow up with clients to ensure timely payment and address any issues related to outstanding invoices or commitments.
    - Track monthly revenue and support the Zonal Head in achieving financial targets.
    Legal and Documentation: - Assist in collecting necessary documentation for site acquisitions, client agreements, and partnerships.
    - Ensure adherence to legal requirements and support the Zonal Head in coordinating with the legal and compliance teams.
    Stakeholder Management: - Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as the Operations & Maintenance, Finance, and Projects teams to ensure alignment in business activities.
    - Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and channel partners, under the guidance of the Zonal Head.
    Operational Support: - Ensure the proper documentation of business data and maintain accurate records for all BD activities.
    - Implement technological tools and solutions for efficient data management and business processes.

Qualifications and Experience



    Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    Preference for candidates with an MBA.
    Work Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the renewables or e-mobility sector.
    Preferred Industry: Experience in the renewable energy or e-mobility sectors is advantageous.
