Position: Traffic Manager (Vendor Development Manager)

Responsibilities:

Ensure Placement Targets: Achieve 100% placement target for Bhiwandi and Vapi branches, managing open containers and open body trucks for local and nationwide operations.
Customer Indents: Receive and process customer requests (Indents) via phone or email.
Negotiation and Payments: Negotiate with brokers to secure the best deals or margins. Support advance payments up to 80% of the hire through RTGS or cheque.
Vehicle Placement: Ensure the placement of suitable vehicles (fit to load) based on received indents. Collect necessary documents from brokers, including broker slips, PAN cards, TDS forms, etc. Verify and authorize broker slips with signature and date.
Cost Management: Update management on daily vehicle hiring costs. Implement a register to track hire charges for key locations daily.
Customer Site Visits: Conduct weekly customer site visits to prevent losses and ensure safe loading practices.
Vendor Management: Visit brokers/vendors weekly to verify authenticity and establish new vendor/broker relationships.
Coordination with Loading Clerks: Assign loading clerks to appropriate sites based on indents.
Additional Responsibilities:

Dispute Resolution: Negotiate with brokers/vendors for disputed cases involving: a. Detention Charges: Manage detention at loading/unloading points as per agreed terms. b. Late Delivery: Recover charges for late deliveries. c. Delay Coordination: Coordinate with the tracking team and brokers/owners for delayed vehicles. d. Damage Recovery: Recover claims for damages, leakages, shortages, or any customer property damage. e. Invoice Collection: Collect PODS invoices.
Customer Responsibility: Take full placement responsibility for key customers.
Market Loads: Arrange market loads for company-owned vehicles.
Experience: 6 - 10 years
