Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

5+ years in Test automation - Selenium
Experience in Test Automation Framework, test script
Proficient Knowledge in web-based application testing
Hands on experience in Java
Experience in JIRA, HP ALM and Confluence
Excellent written and verbal communications
Experience writing test case / preparing test plan
Experience with Waterfall and Agile based methodologies
Good understanding of testing techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis, Decision Table Based Testing

Good-to-Have

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
General understanding of Web Services
Experience in Cucumber BDD, TestNG, Maven,

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Coordinates with program lead to understand requirements.
2 Collection and documentation of test cases
3 Creation of new or enhancing existing testing framework

4 Running QA automation suite after every QA release and preliminary investigation on breaks
5 Work with Dev team for any automation module development
6 Provide timely status, manage and report dependencies/risks as appropriate
