What we are looking for:
Application Packaging, Wise Package Studio, Admin Studio, Windows Installer, MSI.
4+ years of experience in application repackaging and deployment. Should have good application analysis skills and must be familiar with Windows Installer Packaging Standards
Rich experience in Wise Package Studio 7.0 / Install Shield 8.0 /Admin Studio is must
Should be good in troubleshooting applications & compatibility testing with Windows Desktop OS.
Other Tools:
ORCA, Filemon, Regmon, process monitor, Picture taker and should know writing custom actions using Vbscript. Experience in developing installation packages using one or more of the common packaging technologies - Wise Packaging Studio 7.0, Install Shield, and Windows Installer (MSI, MST, conflict Management, VB Script, Custom actions)
System Centre Configuration Manager 2007\SCCM 2012 (Experience on scheduling pushes on to the client machines from SCCM/SMS Console, run reports & queries)
Experience with any application virtualization tool like Thinapp, APPV etc. is plus
Resolving DLL conflicts, registry settings, recognizing applications related problems. Creating transforms for customizing existing windows installer packages.
Application Compatibility Testing using MS ACT 5.x Toolkit/AppDNA.
