In MBRDI Design team, we design interior and exterior styling of all Mercedes-Benz Car projects that are being worked upon by Sindelfingen design studio in Germany
By this we mean our Headquarter engages us in a panorama of projects for Mercedes-Benz car, Vans and AMG car Creative design, digital design as well studio engg
activities
This position is for the Exterior concept modelling team that coverts designer s sketch intent into 3D surface models
This requires close connection with the German counterparts and a good understanding of the Mercedes-Benz design language

Skill Requirements

- Good level of understanding of automotive interiors domain

- Sensitive towards creative design intent and relevant experience for translation of creative direction into required digital output

- Understanding of engineering constraints and ability to decipher criteria packages

- CAD skillset: Proficiency in Alias/ Sub D/ Maya is must

- VRed proficiency is beneficial

- Excellent communication skills required

- Knowledge of German language will be beneficial

Job Responsibilities

- Conversion of sketches/2D input data into surface models using alias, and other surfacing tools

Maintaining speed and quality with main focus on styling intent

- Interface between Creative design and Studio engineering teams for compiling all inputs towards design and criteria package

- Benchmarking competition vehicles for mapping best practices and industry standards to propose robust solutions

- To plan and execute the tasks in order to achieve project milestones

- Ability to manage a project independently as well as in teams

- Ability to set work and communication models with cross functional teams
