Job description

Design and develop conceptual logical and physical data models for data lakes data warehouses and operational databases

Collaborate with data architects to ensure data models align with overall data architecture and business requirements

Work closely with data engineers to translate logical data models into efficient database schemas and structures

Conduct data discovery and analysis to identify data sources understand data relationships and ensure data quality

Develop and maintain data dictionaries data lineage documentation and metadata management processes

Partner with data analysts and visualization experts to understand data consumption requirements and optimize data models for efficient querying and reporting

Implement data quality checks data governance and data lineage processes to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance

Stay up to date with data modeling best practices industry standards and emerging technologies in the data management domain

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data modelers and cross functional teams on data modeling principles and techniques
