Senior Systems Engineer

Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer (Hardware) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in the field, with a focus on New Product Development, Electromechanical System Design, Automotive, AGVs, SLAM navigation or relevant skillsets.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to understand the product needs and requirements.
Define the technical architecture and integration of the electro-mechanical product, while ensuring that product is being delivered as per specification.
Work with cross functional team and suppliers to ensure performance, reliability and safety of complex robotics system
Create and perform verification tests to ensure zero design failure.
Develop processes to ensure that design successes are repeated across product lines
Follow the safety compliance requirements for different geographies while delivering the product
Work with site teams to develop SOPs for the product installation and support. Ensure via design that cost to installation and support is minimum
Skills:
Zeal to create an impactful product in warehouse automation industry
Passion for delivering excellence in engineered products.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to deep dive and create architecture of complex electromechanical system along with the system level embedded codes.
Exposure to manufacturing processes of electromechanical components.
Experience with SLAM based products, embedded programming and sensor technologies
Willingness to learn new & emerging technologies and deliver world class product
Requirements:
Bachelor s or master s degree in engineering from Tier 1 institute with 4+ years of relevant work experience as a senior engineer in robotics/AGVs/EV industry.
Experience in product development lifecycle management is required.
International exposure and ability to interact with cross-functional and international teams.
Domain knowledge of Supply Chain/Warehouse Industry is preferable.
Bachelor s degree in engineering from a top tier institute is necessary (master s degree would be an added advantage).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
Willingness to travel for work to US, EU and other parts of South East Asia
