As a member of the Finance Technology team, you will contribute to all aspects of the financials technology services we deliver, from inception and design to coding to deployment to operation. Our Core Finance platform/services are leveraged across all Business Unit Platforms globally.

Develop and test efficient, reliable and maintainable application components and solutions to meet design specifications for Finance projects and operations.
Designs technical solutions and consumption patterns.
Influences and guides stakeholders in the definition of requirements.
Communicate efficiently within or outside team to create a transparent work environment
Software development according to program specifications and as directed.
Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds and releases to development and test environments.
Basic troubleshooting of environment and deployment issues.
Engage with project stakeholders to provide system support.
Implement system updates into production in accordance with specific production readiness and change management protocol.

Tech Skills

Essential

5 - 8 Years of experience as a PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant in PeopleSoft Finance (9.1/9.2) Support/Enhancement, Implementation and Upgrade projects.
Experience in developing efficient solutions using PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.5x - Application designer, App Engine, Component Interface, People Code, Application Package, Workflow/AWE, and Integration Broker, PSQUERY, DMS & Web services.
Experience in Designing & Developing reports using XMLP, SQR, PSQUERY
Experience and understanding of PeopleSoft Security - Application, Data, Definition security.
Experience in comparing & migrating code changes between PeopleSoft environments.
Excellent client-facing consulting and communication skills.
Experience with PeopleSoft integrations including good understanding of the standard APIs.
Able and willing to participate in hands-on configuration activities.
Experience with Agile frameworks and tools, in particular Jira and Confluence

Desirable:

Good knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance functionality and processes. Overall Understanding of core modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Expenses and AR/BI.
Ability to form strong relationships with business SME's and vendors.
Strong influence, communication and presentation skills, ability to liaise with technical/non-technical stakeholders and senior management
Ability to work as part of both support and project teams.
Demonstrate initiative by identifying inefficiencies and able to recommend improvements.
Excellent requirements gathering skills and ability to translate business requirements into specifications.
