Senior QA Automation

Job description
Currently, we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join us. The candidate with Sound knowledge of automation testing including automation framework development, ability to mentor lead the team. Well versed with all the manual testing skills tools.

Responsibilities:
Review requirements, quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
Create/enhance automation framework
Design, develop and execute automation scripts
Analyse test report (manual automation), perform root cause analysis take corrective actions
Manage customer interaction / coordination handles escalations
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities, open defect counts etc.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to maintain/update testing environments
Proactively works with other team members as needed to resolve issues and meet project goals
Follows defined engineering process, identification rectification of flaws in the processes
Performs peer test reviews to identify improvements in test plans/test cases/test scripts
Job Requirement:
BE/B.Tech from a reputed engineering college with 5+ years of experience as a test engineer experience in web application
Hands-on experience proficiency in automation testing frameworks like Pytest, Cypress, Selenium
Hands-on experience proficiency in API testing (Automation manual)
Proficiency in any one of the laguages like Python, JAVA, JS
Good knowledge of OOPs concepts
Good knowledge of database
Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to non-functional testing like Performance, Security, Compliance etc.
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans test cases
Experience in working with Agile/Scrum development process
Excellent communication skills (verbal written) customer interaction
Familiarity with relevant quality assurance industry standard best practices and methodologies
Exposure to Docker Kubernetes is a plus
