Job description
a. Support NPI deliverables
Inputs to RFQ and DFMEA. Preparing and executing design validation plan (DVP) and RLDA analysis for durability block cycle.
Planning and conducting performance tests including static/ dynamic characteristics and durability tests for development parts and Benchmark parts.
Ensure DVP test, analysis & release of FIR / Green Reports as per NPI project timeline.
Inputs for material and performance specification to design.
Monitor & ensure product quality against material specification during proto part development For IC and EV platform
Resolving field failure and current product improvement.
Benchmarking of structural & functional Chassis & Suspension components.
Generating cost reduction ideas.
Creating technical guidelines / technical specification / product specific guidelines.
New material technology development and implementation on TML products
Data compilation and making material property library.

Relevant Experience :

Should have Master s degree in Metallurgy and Material Science / Technology with 4-8 years experience in automotive components development & testing.
Experience in product development for auto OEM s /Tier 1.
Exposure to international test standards like ASTM, JIS, ISO etc.
Exposure to various manufacturing process e.g. Steel Casting & Forging, Welding, Forming, Rolling, heat treatment and other special processes.
Exposure to UTM, servo hydraulic & servo electric test rigs.
Statistical and data analytical skills.
Knowledge on Steel, Casting, and Composite preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
1-NPI Project Delivery: Operational & Functional support to NPI deliverables for Chassis and Suspension aggregates Timely delivery and
Test reports
2-Support ICR, IPTV reduction initiatives and Quality improvement programs.
As per target
3-Develop New technology projects. Generate new IPR ideas, Patent filing and Create knowledge documents and design guidelines. As per target
