Senior Engineer/Engineer - QA & QC

Job description

1. QA Planning

Develop quality assurance plan which comprises of setting quality standards for all stages of project execution and development that are required to be met to maintain Aparnas excellence in quality including meeting regulatory standards as per Indian quality norms
2. Operations

Lead and ensure alignment and compliance with all project specifications at each individual site; Compliance with all standards, codes and industry practices as applicable to the QA function at sites
Check all the construction activities of site and report findings regularly to reporting authority with back up data, analysis and comments
Inform findings to reporting authority with back up data, analysis and comments at regular intervals
Identification of areas of preventing action considering essence of project to eliminate the factors that could cause nonconformity.
Ensure taking appropriate corrective action against Non-Conformation Products on time by the concerned.
Monitor the effective implementation of Quality App
Conduct Quality Review Meetings regularly regarding site quality issues
Monitor the activities of PMC whether all the construction activities of sites have been checked as per the check lists or not
Monitor the status of Non-Compliance Reports raised by PMC and take necessary action for closure of the same.
Ensure that the execution team/external vendors/contractors adhere to all quality procedures and oversee coordination with various teams to perform quality audits on processes
Overall responsibility for procedures and compliance that ensure basic safety norms at sites are met.
3. Customer Relationship

Monitor effective corrective action for Customer complaints and ensure continuous improvement; Provide inputs to the Head- Quality to institutionalise quality processes for further course correction
Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the quality strategy
4. People

Coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, adds value and reduces cost
Identify, design and impart QMS Training Program & Induction for Staff to create awareness on construction site quality assurance requirements.
Responsible for bringing in industry best practices and monitoring & measuring the improvements
5. Processes

Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance in a timely manner
Required Candidate profile

B. Tech/ BE (Civil) with 4-8 years of experience in QA/QC in construction of High – Rise residential buildings and High – End villas in Real Estate Industry
Knowledge/ Technical Skills

Well versed with quality standards (Indian standard codes / Indian quality standards)
Experience in Quality audit and control
Relevant ISO certifications (Preferred)
Project Management skills
