Role & responsibilities


 

  • RCC Structural Design & field validation of design:


 

1) Conduct detailed structural calculations using software packages, including Dlubal RFEM, STAAD, Ansys and collaborate with CAD technicians on diverse project teams.
2) Manage and design of RCC structures, retrofit design of existing structures, deep foundations & steel structures, working closely with other engineers and CAD technicians to deliver innovative and efficient designs to meet the project & customer needs.

3. RCA support for existing RCC & Steel structures failures.
4. Prepare excel design sheets along with analysis and design in software for RCC and steel
structures.


 

  • Geo-structural design


 

1) Analysis of soil report submitted by Soil consultant.
2) Understanding the geotechnical requirements on critical site-specific conditions at locations
for foundation construction and able to collect required inputs for the ground improvment &
structure design.
3) Geo-technical design of pile foundations (example: monopiles, Bored cast in situ/precast
driven piles).
4) Create various site specific soil improvements meeting the foundation requirements.
5) Work in close coordination and collaborate with colleagues and lead engineers to develop
engineering solutions for end clients that meet the project scope and associated technical
constraints.
 

  • RCC & geotechncial Solutions, execution challenges & testing validation at site


 

1) Site vist for validation of given structure & geotechnical design .
2) Construction engineering support and procedure documentation



 

Preferred candidate profile :


 

1) Technical expertise in RCC , Steel Design & geotechnical engineering associated with civil infrastructure projects and demonstrable understanding of the underlying principles and best practices;
2) Hands-on experience in design of RCC structures, steel structures, old exisitng structures retrofitting engineering solutions, ground improvement solutions for both geotechnical as well structural assessment.
3) Familiarity with engineering principles and best practices in ; Prior knowledge of Indian / European standards and best practices is preferred.
4) Hands-on proficiency geotechnical engineering software such as the PLAXIS 2D/3D, etc. and able to make detailed reviews on related designs, output & produce comprehensive design reports.
