QGIS Developer

Job description
Develop and maintain QGIS plugins and extensions using Python and C
Customize and optimize QGIS applications to meet specific project requirements
Integrate QGIS with various geospatial data sources and APIs
Collaborate with GIS analysts and other developers to design and implement geospatial solutions
Perform data analysis visualization and management using QGIS
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to QGIS software and plugins
Stay updated with the latest developments in QGIS and GIS technologies
Provide training and support to endusers on QGIS functionalities and best practices
Document development processes code and application features for future reference
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Geography Computer Science Geospatial Information Systems or a related field
Proven experience as a QGIS Developer or similar role
Strong proficiency in Python and C programming languages
Experience with QGIS plugin development and customization
Familiarity with GIS concepts spatial data formats and geospatial analysis techniques
Knowledge of web mapping technologies eg Leaflet OpenLayers and geospatial databases eg PostGIS
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills
Experience with other GIS software such as ArcGIS
Familiarity with cloudbased geospatial services eg AWS Google Earth Engine
Knowledge of frontend development technologieseg HTML CSS JavaScript
