Job description
1)Please provide me with a short narrative describing in your words what the person filling this role will be doing. 1) Design and procurement activities related to electrical systems in BESS plants.
2) MV & LV Systems
3) Sizing calculations for all major electrical equipment or systems.
4) Vendor print review for all electrical equipment or systems.
5) Exposure on Layouts such as General Arrangement drawings, Cable & conduit layouts, Earthing & Lightning Protection layouts, Lighting layouts and working in 3D integrated engineering.
6) Exposure on control and protection, review of schematics for EHV, MV & LV systems.
Should be able to execute the projects and handle clients independently. What are the main responsibilities for this individual (i.e., reasons we need this person) Engineer with capability to independently carry out electrical engineering design for BESS plants standalone as well as integrated with solar and Wind. Key Skills Required: What are the must-have skill sets, without which a candidate would not be considered and should not be submitted Technical skills:
1) Familiarity in HomerPRO
2) 3D Engineering tools Smart 3D, PDMS, E3D, Navisworks (optional)
3) Knowledge of India and International codes & standards.
Soft skills:
1) Good Customer connect and willingly to share knowledge.

# Technical Competencies *
1 Knowledge of System engineering such as Basic studies, Equipment sizing calculations, Single line diagrams, Metering & protection one line diagrams, Logic diagrams, etc for BESS.
2 Experience in physical engineering such as GA, cable, earthing, lightning protection, lighting layouts, cable schedules, interconnection schedules for BESS
3 Expertise in Equipment engineering such as technical specification, technical bid evaluation, vendor print review, etc.
4 Review of equipment drawings pertaining to BESS
5 Proficiency in Homerpro
6 Knowledge Indian and International Codes and Standards
