Role & responsibilities
1. Layout piping systems based on project specifications, standard drawings, design instructions, plot plan, line list, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's), suplier and/or vendor drawings information and P&ID's.
2. Layout and model piping systems and pipe supports based on the initial plan of Piping Engineers and Stress Engineers using 3D softwares such as S3D, and E3D.
3. Knowledgeable and able to operate 2D Drawing tools such as (AutoCAD, Microstation, SmartSketch Editor).
4. Knowledgeable in 3D Model review tools such as NavisWorks and Smart Plant review (SPR).
5. Prepare and issue quality piping deliverables such as Piping General Arrangment Drawings and Piping Isometric Drawings.
6. Perform model data consistency check, to do list and clash checks.
7. Work closely with Piping Design Engineers and Checkers to ensure Piping designs meet the project specifications and requirements.
Main Duties :
Model piping systems using the required 2D & 3D Software.
Prepare and issue quality piping deliverables as per project requirements and project schedule. Incorporate Piping Designers and Checkers comments in 3D Model.
Communicate with peers for better ideas and solutions.
Coordinates with other team if needed to ensure that inter-related work is considered.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience in Plant Piping Engineering in any of the EPC company.
- Awareness of Global Codes, Standards and Regulations
- Good Communication in English.
- Computer skill preferable (MS Word, Excel)
- Proficiency in relevant software application : 2D/3D Tool(Auto-CAD, S3D, E3D, Model Review Tool)
