Job description
Perform Product Data Management/Release tasks based on customer requirement
Interact with Packaging & Digital mock up team to ensure correctness data/information in system
Closely monitor the Project milestones and follow-up with affected stake holders
Preventive checks to be run and closed on time
Creating BOM and maintaining product documentation for all Mercedes-Benz - car lines by understanding business requirements and interacting with German counter parts
Consultation with design engineers and understand the intent of engineering change notice. Perform standard part creation using Unigraphics NX
Cross functional responsibility to coordinate with process and method team and maintain quality standards as required
Ensure knowledge is shared across the team members
To manage risks and issues impacting project deliverables
Seamless integration with the Team in India & Germany
B.E (Mechanical / Production/Automotive)
Mandatory Skills:

Experience in the field of product documentation in OEM s / Tier 1 suppliers
Expertise in engineering BOM and structure level
Should have good knowledge on any PLM tool and basic life cycle of parts release.
In depth understanding of automotive systems ie, functional relationships of automotive systems and components.
Good understanding of product development process (planning, development, production, pre and after sales etc )
Good team playing skills and ability to work independently with little supervision
Demonstrate excellent analytical and assertive skills
Ability to interact and work with the German teams
Excellent in communication and coordination
Good understanding on relation between Geometry and Function data analysis
Preferred skills:
Knowledge on UG-NX is desired.
German communication is desirable.
Good in MS Excel and power point presentation skills
Knowledge of Mercedes Benz cars portfolio will be an added advantage.
