Job description

- Execute development of exterior components with supplier to secure the milestones in the project.
- Prepare and monitor timeline for development of exterior components with supplier.
- Collaboration with different cross-functional teams (Design, Purchasing, Quality, Production, Controlling) to meet quality,
assembly & functional requirements.
- Close coordination with supplier for functional development and product maturity.
- Execution of Engineering Change requests as per project requirements.
Mandatory Skills:
- Experience in design and development of Automotive Interior components.
- Product knowledge of automotive exterior components including Glazing, Plastic, Metals etc.
- Experience in full product lifecycle management spanning from concept generation, design & development, product
validation (as per global regulation), product launch execution to post-production support.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong practitioner of basic engineering processes, analytical and problem-solving skills and with capability of Out-of-the
Box Thinking.
- Working Experience in UG NX
- Must be a Team Player & also shoulder individual responsibility with little supervision.
- Excellent in communication and coordination skills
Desired skills:
- Intercultural Experience: Onsite experience or working exposure in Europe/ European clients will be an added
advantage. Must be able to interact with the German teams.
- German Language will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and assertive skills
- Good understanding of product development process (planning, development, production, pre and after sales, etc )
- Knowledge of Mercedes Benz cars portfolio will be an added advantage.
