MB OS Feature Owner (Vehicle Functions)

Job description
 

Master s / Bachelor s degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering or in a relevant stream.

Experience

7-10 years of experience in Software development in Automotive

Min 5 years of experience in writing, debugging, and testing C/C++ software.

Mandatory Skills

Expert in Embedded Linux & proficient in C/C++ language and scripting using Python and Bash

Experience in writing requirements for the product in DOORS or JIRA and are well versed in deriving epics and user stories from the requirements for the scrum team

Experience in the area of Vehicle electronic system, connectivity, CAN, DoIP, SOMEIP and other inter processor communication techniques

Works with Vehicle Project Owners, Project Managers, Vehicle System Project Lead and other stakeholders to align strategy and execution

Refines Use Cases (End-to-end functions) to identify Vehicle System Features/Functions

Specifies Vehicle System Features/Functions and is responsible for the completeness towards Stakeholder Requirements and establishes traceability, verification criteria and responsibilities

Specifies non-functional requirements, process and project execution requirements, requirements for vehicle test and validation, requirements for manufacturing

Experience with CI/CD and agile development methodology

Establish an effective communication with partners, suppliers, within, and outside organization

Nice to have:

Experience in Automotive with knowledge of Vehicle Functions

Desired Skills

Good knowledge on scripting languages Perl or Python etc.

Good knowledge of Test driven development (Unit and Module testing)

Proven ability working in Agile Scrum environment using Atlassian tools

Job Responsibilities

Owns a feature or multiple features from conception to implementation

Defines the Vehicle Functions and allocates the Vehicle System Elements to build up the Functional Architecture

Works with Product Owners, Project Managers, Vehicle System Project Lead and other stakeholders to align strategy and execution

Responsible for the completeness towards Stakeholder Requirements and establishes traceability, verification criteria and responsibilities

Specifies the non-functional requirements, process and project execution requirements

Collaborate with Software Engineers to review software implementation ensuring compliance with requirements
