Job description
This role requires to oversee the Insurance and annuities business reporting primarily focused on conducting business performance analysis to assess risk and opportunities, SOX control management, incorporating trend analysis to assess business implications, planning and forecasting. Creates, maintains and enhances models used in decision support and analyzing segment performance. Partners with the Business to adjust assumptions or offer parameters. Manages and provides coaching and tactical training to Financial Analyst/s or trainees/interns.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with US-based leaders with diverse and competing priorities to achieve a common goal. Partner with functional leaders to set and manage goals and expectations for each team member that are tied to company goals
Lead and partner to prioritize complex projects and process improvements from concept to completion. Execute and manage quality and compliance standards while identifying and clearing roadblocks to achieve committed timelines. Manage and provide coaching and tactical training to Financial Analyst or trainees/interns.
Create consolidate asset earnings for annuities business, quarterly external reporting, SOX control management and supporting external audits. Perform independent analysis using multiple data sources to derive root cause and track benefits of past decisions.
Review and Manage monthly/ quarterly reporting, establish a planning and forecasting models and identify risk, opportunities and re-engineering.
Lead the month-end and year-end closing process for the assigned business segment by analyzing and preparing journal entries and accruals.
Required Qualifications
Master s\Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Data Science, Business Management, or Finance.
10+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analytics & people leadership.
Strong experience in leading across diverse teams and managing competing priorities.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship building skills with individuals at all organizational levels from direct reports and business partners through executive leadership.
Strong task and time management skills.
Requires hands-on handling and manipulating data, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving.

Strong need to lead up and across to business partners and finance personnel
