Job description
Managing large IT Transformation projects in the Government ecosystem
Independently driving complex Digital Transformation initiatives in a multi stakeholder
environment
Client handling, stakeholder management, program management, vendor management, business
process re-engineering
Conceptualize the IT solution landscape, implementation model, and procurement model for IT
projects
End-to-end IT Project management and Contract management
Oversee the implementation of the agreed IT architecture and Infrastructure
Provide guidance and strategic inputs on various technology solutions that meet government client
requirements
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of governmental procurement procedures
Lead RFP design and administration, ensuring complete alignment with client needs and industry
best practices
Exhibit proficiency in bid management, coordinating with client teams to ensure compliance and
accuracy
Engage extensively in program management operations, driving project delivery timelines,
budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
Lead business development initiatives including responding to government RFPs and developing
new solutions for clients
Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations
Understand the technologies used in digitization and e-governance projects
Experience in conducting and monitoring capacity-building and training activities
Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal
development
Develop thought papers, concept notes and lead other practice development initiatives
Managing client relationships and team management
Broad Experience & Expertise Requirements
Minimum 10 years of work experience with at least 6 years of relevant work experience in
Technology/Government consulting or similar e-Governance assignments in large scale
Educational Qualifications
Certifications (in software)
BE/B.Tech/MCA/M. Tech full time in any discipline. However, a degree in Computer
Engineering/IT is preferable
MBA from a reputed college with strong records
Educational background in Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields is preferred
PMP/PRINCE 2/ITIL certification is preferred but not mandatory
Personality traits (a must)
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle complex assignment independently
Ability to work with ambiguity. Taking a systematic, structured view of situations.
Ability to interact with client (senior government officials)
Demonstrating willingness to get hands dirty and developing a problem-solving attitude
Strong personal and professional presence and self-confidence, capable of working effectively with
senior team as well as all other levels.
