Role: AWS architect

Key Skills

1. Design and deploy enterprise-wide scalable operations on AWS

2. Implement cost-control strategies

3. Docker and container technologies, EKS & ECS

4. Automation Jenkins, Terraform, Bitbucket, Lambda

5. AWS Networking

6. Centralised Security in AWS

7. A professional level certified Architect

Responsibilities

1. Advice on, design and deploy dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable IaaS and PaaS foundation for applications on AWS

2. Share knowledge & guidance on changes within the AWS Services landscape. EOL & new products, with risks & opportunities shared with Customer.

3. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Cloud with Customer, providing expert and industry experience to advice and guide Customer future cloud activities.

4. Micro service platform design experience, ECS, EKS

5. Provide expert levels of insight into AWS functionality and best practice

6. Understand new features and advise adoption appropriately as required

7. Skilled in CI/CD (Jenkins), Security best practice and Operational activities

8. Experienced in Git, preferably Bitbucket

9. Good experience in infra coding tools, terraform & cloud formation.

10. Determining the risk associated with third-party platforms or frameworks.

11. Making hardware and software recommendations for the organization, based on needs of the project and organization.

12. Keeping up to date on best practices in cloud computing and making improvements to the cloud infrastructure.

13. Keeping cloud environments secure and preventing downtime or security breaches.
