Employment Information

Job description
1. Shall be able to work as a Piping Lead engineer for the project
2. Overall planning, monitoring and proper execution of piping activities/ deliverables for complete life cycle of the project.
3. Coordination with all stake holders ( Client, Inter discipline engineers , Area and working engineers etc.)
4. Checking and Coordination and Inter disciplinary check of Engineering Deliverables
5. Review Piperack planning and Finalization of Piperack layouts and sections.
6. Preparation of Piping design basis, Model review procedure, Painting, Insulation specification, PMS and VMS etc.
7. Review verification of Technical specification (MR) for piping, fittings, manual valves and specialities etc.
8. Preparation of Piping fabrication and erection tender, Technical bid evaluation of the tender.
9. Review and verification of Technical bid evaluation, Vendor drawing review for piping, fittings, manual valves and specialities etc.
10. Presenting 30%, 60% and 90% model review (Internal and External) for entire project.
11. Tags Resolution and Closure with Client for 30%, 60% and 90% model Reviews.
12. Review of Inter disciplinary vendor drawings for consistency check of piping interfaces.
13. Interdisciplinary Checking and Coordination for Process PIDs, Vendor GAs, Structural GAs.
14. Issuing of equipment layouts.
15. Issue of IFC Isometrics as per Project schedule ensuring quality checks.
16. Issue of IFC Piping layouts as per project schedule ensuring quality checks.
17. Equipment Erection plan
18. Equipment layout development
19. Engineering Support during construction /Tie in schedule/ Site Visit.
20. Cost data Cost estimation during FEED/ tender preparation.

Key Skills Required:

1. Familiarity with ASME B 31.3 code for process piping
2. Familiarity with ASME, ASTM, API, MSS SP and IS standards
3. Familiarity with Autocad and proficiency in MS Office.
4. Familiarity with Statutory codes like IBR, OISD etc.
5. Interdisciplinary knowledge
6. Preparation of equipment layout
7. Understanding /Development of Plot Plan
8. Proficient in Piping material specifications
9. Proficient in Valve and specialty data sheets.
10. Awareness of 3D modelling
11. Proficiency in 3D review ( Navisworks) software.
12. Review, Verification of Piping layouts and Isometrics
13. Familiarity with stress analysis concepts.
14. Construction sequence and erection methodology concepts
