Role & responsibilities
Chase customer for Shipping Instruction (SI) via email and phone.
Responsible for providing shipping Instruction to Shipping Line via Carrier web site, Intra, EDI or Manual SI
Submitted VGM (Verified Gross Mass) details of the container.
Responsible for getting draft BL, checking BL as per SI submitted.
Sending draft BL to the customer for approval.
Proactively notify customer of shipment status.
Co-ordinate internal with other department via phone and emails.
Report any issues to management and participate in problem resolutions.
Should have knowledge/ experience in creating Vessel certificate, Insurance certificate.
Tracking shipments until delivery and coordinating with our customers/shipping partners.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors in Logistics or MBA - Supply Chain or atleast 2 years of experience with graduation.
Good communication skills
Good Writing skills
Go - Getter.
