Key Responsibilities:

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts like MoUs, LOIs, Lease Deeds/ATL/LLA, maintenance contracts, fit-out agreements, service agreements, business conducting agreements etc.
Provide clarification regarding title/ownership of the properties.
Coordination with internal/external stakeholders including tenants/law firms/auditors.
Ensure documentation of existing and ongoing retail leasing transactions.
Ensure registration of all applicable agreements with respect to retail and commercial transactions.
Support legal team on general corporate legal matters.
Reviewing legal queries raised by various stakeholders and preparing responses. Coordinating with external counsel where necessary for preparing the responses.
Track reporting requirements under all long-term contracts executed by Aparna Group and its assets.
Legal research on relevant areas.
Compliance reporting.
MIS.
Basic understanding of litigation/coordination with external lawyers.

Qualifications and Work Experience:

Law Graduate / Post Graduate
4 plus years of relevant experience with at least 1-2 years of a reputed Law firm / malls / commercial experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

Effective verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience in people management.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in MS Office and other reporting tools.
Eye for details and think out of the box.
Proactive and team player.
