Database Administrator Connect

Job description
Strong AWS experience with at least one of RDS databases - preferably MySQL Aurora, and/or Postgres.
Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot in dynamic situations supporting mission-critical applications such as DBA
Experience with AWS CLI and AWS RDS.
Standard DBA operations such as Monitoring, query optimization, cost optimization, tuning, backup/restore, blue/green deployments and Cross-region replication in AWS and/or other cloud environments.
DBA expertise from one of the popular RDBMS - preferably MySQL, Postgres
Rich experience in performing database upgrades with minimum downtime.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exposure to agile practices and working with agile software development teams.
Availability for pager-duty on call.
Nice to have.
Scripting and/or programming experience to automate standard DB tasks/operations.
Experience with data quality and data observability aspects of data management and working with the data analytics team.
knowledge of percona toolkit.
Knowledge of pg/SQL.
