Role Overview

Calsoft is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager with a formidable track record in the Indian enterprise market. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of BMC Helix solutions (ITSM, Operations Management, AIOps, and Discovery) across Tier-1 and Tier-2 enterprises.

The ideal candidate possesses deep relationships with C-suite stakeholders and a nuanced understanding of how to displace legacy systems with modern, AI-driven service management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Own and exceed annual sales targets for BMC Helix software and associated implementation services within the India region.
  • Strategic Prospecting:
    • Identify and penetrate "Greenfield" accounts and manage "Land and Expand" strategies within existing enterprise customers.
    • Identify and penetrate "Brownfield" accounts and by offering Migration, Managed support, integration services.
  • Solution Advocacy: Conduct high-level presentations and white-boarding sessions to demonstrate how BMC Helix solves complex business challenges (e.g., reducing Mean Time to Repair, automating service delivery).
  • Partner Collaboration: Work closely with the BMC Software regional sales teams in India to co-sell and align on go-to-market strategies.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle—from lead generation and RFP participation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of the competitive landscape (ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Freshworks, Ivanti) and position Calsoft’s BMC expertise as a superior differentiator.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 15 to 20 years of experience in Enterprise Software Sales, with at least 5 years specifically focused on ITSM, ITOM, or Cloud solutions.
  • Platform Expertise: Prior experience selling BMC Helix or the Remedy ecosystem is highly preferred. Familiarity with AIOps and Cognitive Service Management is a significant plus. Should be part of a BMC Helix partner company.
  • Network: An active Rolodex of CIO/CTO/IT Director contacts within major Indian verticals (BFSI, Manufacturing, Pharma, and IT/ITeS).
  • Consultative Selling: Proven ability to move beyond transactional sales to long-term, value-based consulting.
  • Negotiation: Expert-level skills in handling complex commercial negotiations and multi-year SaaS contracts.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business; an MBA from a premier institute is preferred.
