Job description
Become the subject matter expert for all Business Development processes, best practices and metrics
Hire, mentor, coach and train current and incoming Business Development Representatives in order for the sales team to meet or exceed their quota
Exploring and trying new tools and technologies
Expertise in building and cultivating prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up qualifications in order to move opportunities into the sales funnel
Conducting advanced discoveries - Perform thorough needs assessment and identify prospects pain points, impact and build DAP awareness
Excellent nurture skills - Building sense of urgency
Expert in conducting personalized outbound calls, emailing and social channel activities against targeted accounts, prospect lists, and other campaigns
Build and increase industry knowledge on select industries and Whatfix products
Maintain accurate records of all activities in the CRM
Promote database cleanup and hygiene through regular and ongoing maintenance activities
What you should have
6+ years experience in Business Development/Sales Development with a focus on Outbound and at least 2 years of experience of directly managing a team of SDR/BDRs
Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening)
Team player
Tools - Salesforce, Outreach/Zoom Info/ LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Working in the US/ EMEA/APAC Geography. Know their culture.
