Automation Production Support Engineer

Job description
As a Automation Production Support Engineer you will be responsible for Production Engineering Product/Process Automation
Product Automation includes providing technical support to production, troubleshooting, programming, testing, inspection, communication within internal/external, addressing site complaints, automation production improvements and troubleshooting
You will be supervising a staff of 3 direct reports
Key Accountabilities:
Production of Automation Products
Production Engineering Support: Jigs / Fixtures / Templates / Pallets / Factory Layouts
Process Improvements / Automations / Innovations
Current Product Improvements: CR/CI, ECR/ECN
Management Reporting Reports
The position is responsible for:

Product Automation:
Automation products troubleshooting, programming, testing, inspection, communication within internal/external, addressing site complaints.
To manage and maintain various automation test rig and test fixtures.
To manage and maintain various automation PCB s (RTU/AMM/G3 Module)
Actively involving into Automation, Maintenance and Production team
To involve in the new product manufacturing and testing
Current Product Improvements:
Analysis Problem solving
8D other Methodology
Design improvements feedback to Automation Engineering
Trialing implementing proposed improvements.
Creating work environment to meet quality standards set by ISO 9001/14001
BOM validation and error reporting to contracts/Automation Eng for corrective actions (ECR/ECN process)
Build Instructions
Lean Management
Eliminate Waste Activities
Coordinate with related departments for optimized process flow, Lean manufacturing.
Total cycle time (throughput time) reduction
Implementing 5S concepts
System Management (D365) Management Reporting
Ensure to submit/ Circulate all management reports on time.
Budget Activity for Production Dept
D365 activities related to the Department (Route etc)
Training
Impart Training to workers on Product and other technical aspects of product.
Health Safety
Facilitate safe working environment for people and implement HS guidelines and regulations.
General
To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by the company.
Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of information relating to the company s business and staff.
Qualifications, Experience Skills

Bachelors in electrical/Electronic Engineering
3+ years of Industrial experience on relevant skills as detailed above.
Job-Specific Skills:
Process Automation
Lean Manufacturing concepts- 5S, 6 Sigma, CR/CI, Problem solving tools.
Industrial Automation
ISO systems and procedures
D365 ERP platform
Test Jigs, Test Fixtures Templates
Hands-on familiarity of the lab equipment such as Omicron/Doble, DSO, Power Supplies etc,
Knowledge of LabVIEW will be an added advantage.
